This position is within the Bargaining Unit of Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 363.

The City of Revelstoke is currently seeking interested candidates an Engineering Technician I. Reporting to the Engineering Technician III and Director of Engineering Public Works, the Engineering Technician I is responsible for assisting the Engineering Tech III in the performance of his/her duties, as well as the enforcement of municipal Bylaws. The Engineering Tech I will perform skilled technical and surveying work of a complex nature, under limited supervision. Work involves the operation of surveying instruments related to topographical and construction survey projects and on occasion instruction to work crews and contractors on site. The position includes inside and outside work in a variety of weather conditions.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
