Engineering Technician III
This position is within the Bargaining Unit of Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 363.
This is a technical supervisory position reporting to the Director of Engineering and Public Works. The incumbent in this position is responsible for and provides leadership in the operation of the engineering section of the Public Works Department. The employee will plan, coordinate, assign, supervise and assist in the work of the unit and will exercise independent judgment in dealing with recurrent problems peculiar to engineering design and construction with municipal infrastructure. The position involves indoor and outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
