True North Cannabis Co. is an emerging Cannabis retailer that believes in providing our clients with high-end, affordable cannabis and cannabis accessories across Central and Southern Ontario. We are a new business, and we are looking for a committed leader that will go above and beyond to create an environment for the business to thrive.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for driving a positive team environment while ensuring all team members are providing exceptional customer care as well as adhering to the company policies.
Who are we Looking for?
Are you someone who strives to arrive at the finish line first
Are you someone who is able to identify low-hanging fruit and decompose a problem to achieve the opportunity for growth
Are you determined and eager to fight the same dragon every morning
Are you a master in effective communication with employees, customers, peers, and other stakeholders
Are you embracing teamwork in synergy toward the same goal while keeping things fun
Do you have a desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis
Do you have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a supervisory/management role leading a team of 15+ team members
If you have post-secondary education in Business Accounting courses or equivalent will be considered an asset
If you have prior work experience in a regulated environment we will consider that an asset (LCBO, Tobacco, Gaming)
If you possess knowledge and experience working with the Cannabis industry would be considered a huge asset
