Title: High School Teacher (Math 9, Science 9, Food Science 12, Design 11, Bus Tech 11)

Reports to: Principal

Location: Liverpool, NS B0T 1K0

Description:
The High School Teacher is responsible for teaching and providing support to students within the South Shore Regional Centre for Education. The Teacher will work within the Inclusive Education Policy framework by participating in individualized program planning with school staff and families to maximize learning experiences for students.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification

Bachelor of Education – Secondary

University education in Science

OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching a minimum of 50% Science within the last seven (7) years with positive performance appraisals and/or references

University education in Mathematics

OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching a minimum of 50% Mathematics within the last seven (7) years with positive performance appraisals and/or references

Professional development in Science

Experience teaching Science

Professional development in Mathematics

Experience teaching Mathematics

Professional Development in Business Tech

Experience teaching Business Tech

Professional Development in Comm Tech
