As the Insurance Manager, you will manage the performance of the existing product portfolio, as well as, analyze and identify new product opportunities. This position exists to maximize product performance, identify opportunities for growth, product training, Retailer training, RSC training, and continuously look for ways to improve business line profitability.

Specific responsibilities include:
Program Administration

Manage external vendors to ensure programs, systems and service levels are maintained.

Responsible for the renewal and content for all vendor agreements.

Provide all month end reporting to Accounting and Controlling.

Monitor, evaluate and provide monthly updates on the risk of the Excess Wear & Use Program.

Managing all aspects of the Performance League program.

Other administrative duties as required.

Product Enhancement

Comparing actual product/program results to Retailer/market feedback.

Analyzing information and providing recommendations for improvement.

Look for ways to expand and promote the Floorplan Insurance program.

New Product Development

Develop detailed business cases outlining product/program structures, risk structures, costs, and profitability of potential products.

Self-Insurance opportunities.

New Products.

Identifying and delivering bundling opportunities.

Work closely with Business Development and develop and implement new opportunities for growth.

Retailer Incentive Programs

Work with Sales, Marketing and the NSC to develop incentive programs that promote growth and profitability for BMW and BMWFS.

Work with Third Party vendors to develop Retailer incentive programs that increase Retailer and BMWFS profitability.

Insurance Marketing & Communications

Oversee the updating of content for all product related material, systems, & channels including but not limited to, web, 180, Bulletins, POS, Retailer Selling Guides, Training Manuals, Presentations, and ensure they are all updated in a timely manner.

BMW University Training

Ensure all university training material is current, up-to-date, and relevant for the audience.

Attend training courses when necessary and act as the subject matter expert.

RSC Training & Support

Ensure all RSC Training material is current and updated.

Provide product training to associates as requested.

Area Sales Manager (ASM) Support

Assist ASMs with Retailer obstacles, objections and feedback.

Assist ASMs with product presentations, Retailer training as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.

2 – 3 Years Automotive, Insurance, Financial Services and/or Product Development background is required.

2 – 3 Years Marketing experience preferred.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint.

Advanced analytical skills, including Excel.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, work intensive environment.
