Aircraft Maintenance Technician Instructor

Northern Lights College is seeking a full-time relief instructor for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program that is based on the Dawson Creek campus.

The first term of employment will take place from May 17th until June 25th for onboarding/orientation. Continuation of the employment will take place on August 23rd and remain until return of incumbent.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid Canadian AME license, Category M1/M2 or E rating, with a minimum of five years of practical licensed experience. Basic computer skills such as word processing, internet usage and email are essential.

All applications will be reviewed, with preference given to applicants having one or more of the following:

Experience, or education, in the delivery of post-secondary instruction in aviation.

Provincial Instructors Diploma, or Equivalent.

Experience in “Desire2Learn” online course delivery platform (D2L).

Experience on King Air, Cessna, or Jetstream would be an asset (general aviation experience will be considered).

Advanced avionics such as Airbus 320 family, Boeing 777 avionics systems etc. and field maintenance experience with fundamental avionics systems; and

Helicopter experience on Bell 204/205/206/ or AS350.
