As an Operations Director, your job includes:
Plan, organize, direct and supervise administrative and human resources activities across departments; ensuring prompt and efficient internal workflow;
Develop and optimize management policies and operational procedures. Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements;
Work closely with the company management team to implement policies, operation procedures, and management systems and to follow through with implementation;
Manage the operating cost of the company;
Prepare weekly and monthly operation reports and communicate with senior management regularly;
Keep eyes on multiple areas within the company, assuring productivity and efficiency and seeking to reduce costs;
Develop, implement and evaluate company policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving the product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping;
Coordinator different teams to Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions;
Manage and maintain the relationships with operations vendors;
Recruit, train, assign, schedule, and discipline employees;
Provide guidance and advice to employees on the development and implementation of service quality assessment system;
Communicate department updates to the information, including daily staffing and workload updates;
Contribute operations information and recommendations to the company’s strategic plans and reviews.
Job requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education
3+ years of operation manager experience in a related area
Knowledge of leadership strategies, group process, and team building
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Professional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
Planning, Organizing, and judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fast-paced environment, self-motivated and attention to detail
