Responsibilities: Chief financial officer
- Reconciliation of banks, balance sheet accounts
- Create and post journal entries as needed
- Performs accounts analysis and records adjusting entries
- Performs month end duties (including journal entries)
- Manage small business finances
- Run and Manage inventories
- Manage Royalty reports
- Analyze financial information and summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain General ledger accounts, Government filings and interactions with suppliers.
- Review invoices for completeness and accuracy and follow up with customers/staff to resolve identified discrepancies
- To modernize current reporting systems
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
Requirements, Skills and Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation
- 2+ years working in an accounting field.
- Team player, with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Must have knowledge and Experience Using Quickbooks Accounting software
- Ability to multitask while still being accurate and timely.
- A natural desire to understand and improve company accounting processes
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
- Excellent English Skills (written, verbal, reading)
