Strathcona Regional District (SRD) is recruiting for a temporary (one year) full-time Project Coordinator, Records Management. The position supports the development and implementation of the Strathcona Regional District’s (SRD) corporate records management program. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Services, the Project Coordinator, Records Management will lead the development of corporate standards, policies and procedures to ensure records management compliance; and develop and implement a training program for staff.
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (or equivalent combination)

  • Minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Records and Information Management, Library Sciences or a related discipline
  • Project Management Professional designation highly desirable
  • Minimum seven years’ experience with three of those years being in project management
  • Freedom of information training
  • Certificate in Local Government Administration or three years’ experience working in a local government environment

The position is full-time, 35 hours a week for a one year term with an annual salary range from $73,920 to $84,722. Pay in lieu of vacation and benefits is offered in addition to base salary.
