A challenging opportunity exists for a highly-motivated and innovative professional in the Community Care Branch of the Ministry of Health. As a Research Officer, you will be part of a team of creative professionals involved in creating a vision and strategic direction for research, evaluation and the provision of support to ensure health system accountability for Branch program areas.
You will conduct research, provide policy analysis and evaluate policies and program initiatives. In addition, you will assist in developing and implementing policies, legislation, regulations, program guidelines and standards. You will facilitate collaborative approaches to deal with the challenges and issues related to health system performance, specifically community-based health services. You will support the health system strategic priorities through the development and monitoring of measures and metrics.
Typically you will have a Master’s degree in health sciences, social sciences, health administration or public administration and two or more years related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
