What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
Act as the first point of contact for fielding technical support inquiries and resolving customer issues via telephone and e-mail
Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers – both internal and external
Troubleshoot mat and thermostat issues with customers and contractors who are on the job site
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate troubleshooting
Review return requests relative to guidelines and provide authorization for items that are deemed defective
You have:
Academic background
In an electrical or technical field is an asset but not required
Previous experience
Troubleshooting electrical devices
Troubleshooting networking issues with connected devices
Working in a Technical support role within a call center environment
Skills
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Excellent phone skills especially with technical details
Knowledge of ERP/order management/CRM systems
Ability to de-escalate upset customers
Advanced computer literacy skills
Experience working in a team environment
Exceptional problem solving skills
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
Handling 30-50 Technical calls per day
Processing 15-25 Technical email enquiries per day
Sitting for extended periods of time
Able to wear and use headset and softphone equipment for extended periods of time
