POSITION DESCRIPTION:

In addition to the usual waiter duties, the dining room manager:

  • Ensures the proper functioning of the meal service
  • Manage personnel
  • Establishes work schedules and ensures the welcome and integration of new employees into his team
  • Welcomes and also takes care of the integration of new residents, manages the places in the dining room
  • Supervises reservations
  • He / she is responsible for managing his inventory
  • Participate like the rest of the team in the upkeep and maintenance of cleanliness in the dining room
  • Manages conflicts with employees of his department
  • Inform his team of any changes
  • Works closely with the head of the food service.

Schedule:
40 h / week

From Monday to Friday

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the team, ensure the cleanliness of the dining rooms floors, tables and chairs (may require light housekeeping chores, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning etc.).

Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork

Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable

Manage guests’ reservations and ensure their comfort

Participate in table service with your team of waiters

Use work methods consistent with the health and safety rules and cleanliness standards in effect

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma of vocational studies (DVS)

At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration
