Citizenship Engagement exists to better support our employees live RBC’s purpose. A critical component of Corporate Citizenship’s ‘more than money’ approach, this team works to provide meaningful opportunities for RBCers to support their community globally. In this role as Director, you will provide strategic oversight for the design, innovation, and execution of best-in-class programs that engage RBC employees and retirees globally, add value to our communities, and help position RBC as an employer of choice.
What will you do?
Develop clear targets and metrics for success that are best-in-class and position RBC as a leading actor in this sector
Give strategic oversight for the design of new and varied programs to engage all employees globally; planning, and tactical execution of all existing citizenship engagement programs
Improve, develop, and implement best-in-class tools, resources, and technology to support our programs and overall objectives
Evolve existing Employee Giving Campaign, to deliver first-ever Global Campaign
Scale effective adoption of myCommunity platform to all regions
Pilot new program offerings in collaboration with regions to encourage employee engagement and participation
Deepen partnership across all key HR business units: early talent, employee experience, leadership & development, RBC Performance, wellness, etc
Work with employee experience team on new RBC Employee Value Proposition
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Baccalaureate degree
Minimum of 7+ years in strategic roles
Superior strategic planning and leadership skills
Experience leading diverse and high functioning team
Employee relations or communications
Comprehensive understanding of fundraising and/or 5+ years of fundraising experience
Nice-to-have
Community Relations expertise
Institutional Knowledge
