Faculty, Organizational Behavior

BCIT’s Business Administration Department is currently seeking up to two (2) temporary, full-time Faculty positions available to teach in the area of Organizational Behavior up to and including the undergraduate level.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an individual who are committed to quality and innovation in meeting our students’ needs and who value the importance of teamwork in the workplace.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area.

Recent management and leadership experience.

Experience teaching Organizational Behavior.

Ability to teach and to support learning processes.

Ability to work with a diverse student body.

Willing to use, or explore and learn to use, information technology tools as aids to student learning.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Willing to become fully involved in departmental activities and initiatives.

Ability to work in a collegial environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate degree.

Experience teaching in a post-secondary educational institution (face-to-face and online).

Ability to teach a variety a business management courses including sustainable business.

Salary Range $56, 845 to $99, 571 per annum

Additional Salary Information

Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
