Stettler Elementary School is a dynamic Pre-K to Grade 6 school with approximately 600 students located in Stettler, Alberta. Applications are being accepted for a full time probationary Grade 2 teaching position beginning August 30, 2021.
The successful applicant will be a student focused teacher with experience working in a collaborative environment in order to develop interventions and differentiated instructional activities to meet the needs of all students. Candidates must have experience in creating and delivering engaging and effective literacy instruction.
Stettler Elementary School has a small school family atmosphere yet is able to provide students with large school opportunities. We have a very caring staff and this is a priority in our hiring process. Applicants with a passion, knowledge and experience in implementing The Leader in Me character education program will be seriously considered for this position.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and a current Intervention Record Check prior to employment commencing. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to supply three references that have agreed to be contacted at the time of the interview.
