Description
The Sharing Christmas Program Coordinator assists individuals and families who are seeking aid and assistance from or have been referred to, The Salvation Army Christmas Blessing Program.
HOURS:
- 40 hours per week with a fluctuating schedule-flexibility will be required
- October 18, 2021– Dec. 24, 2021
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The incumbent is responsible for the following range of job duties characteristic, or typical of the job class:
- To give assistance to the Sharing Christmas Blessing Program
- Evaluate and process applicants registering for Christmas Assistance
- Train, orientate, and work alongside a volunteer team
- Recording of essential information into The Salvation Army’s database (CMS-Client Management System)
- Collects, organizes, & prepares statistical and other program information
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs. Will also have completed High School, plus specialized courses of up to six (6) months.
Experience:
- The successful candidate must have at least one-year prior related experience, including life skills, computer competency, and leadership skills
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear vulnerable sector screening
- Clean drivers abstract
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training
